I have done a TITLE loan with this company back in 2013. I have since paid off the amount owed, and I come to find out almost 10 years later that they still have a lien on my title.
The company plays games with you when you call customer service.
There are 5 rotating people that answer the phone all of the time, whether it be for a loan, or customer service. They have no regard for decent interaction with customers past or present and they are disgustingly RUDE. They will hang the phone up on yo with no problem.
For the past 8 weeks, it has been a different story EVERY DAY. The most laughable one is, we are doing a company merger!!!
They are despicable liars, they deal unfairly and dishonestly with me on EVERY single phone call. Complete lack of character and morals.
They are in many violations with the Florida Statutes of b0th 516 and 537!!!
They are licensed as a consumer finance company, (soley so that they can charge outrageous interest fees) which falls under the 516 chapters, yet all of their dealings and transactions fall under the statutes of 537.
Their website itself is a violation, and is misleading to the untrained and uneducated reader.
I have had enough of their games, as they have cost me $2500 dollars, and a suspended license, because they have yet o remove the frivolous lien from my car.
I have currently logged a complaint on them with the florida attorney general's office, the department of finance AND the office of financial regulation. I will go through the courts next week.
This company is family owned and operated by the Gerardi family in Miami. The operators of this shameful business are:

Michael Ross Chief Marketing Officer at Rapid Auto Loans
Vici / Victoria Gerardi-Manager and person of record on the Articles of Incorporation at Rapid Auto Loans LLC

and a slew of others.
The list goes on and on. They also operate a host of other businesses of many kinds, and I am currently investigating those as well, to see if there are any violations, and if so, I am going to be sure that they do not get away with it.
All they had to do was release my electronic lien which is 9 years old, and I would not even be writing this.
It will not stop here. They have not seen anything yet.

The com0sny changed and everything I was promised by the previous rep was disregarded. The rep today called me a liar.
I borrowed a little money . they added $3000 to the loan. For $2000. I have been paying between $300 -$400.
Each month for 2 years. I was stupid and believed what you all told me. It was a lesson well.learned. I am willing to pay the lady payment.
But I need the modification of 20% that we agreed to on the late charges honored. They were incurred becare ok. The refinancing which was proposed on the 2 occasions as a way to lower payments were not written on 3rd as I requested. That is why they offered me the settlement.
I wanted it in writing plus I need the returno title expedited. Please call me I gave been calling for 89 days. Miris has never called back or answered the phone. These new reps lie and are rude.
The old reps were good. I learnt a lot from them. But these new ones say I'm a liar insinuate I'm a deadbeat.
I have paid and paid. Please help

They were forced to give me back my car because what they did was illegal. They also cracked my windshield and did something to my oil.
We have court oct 15th. And then they tried to charge me 49 more dollars. It was an online loan so there was nothing I could read and they don’t tell u what your signing they just ask if they can sign for u.
Do not use rapid at all ever they are rude terrible people who has my car already to sell when I got it back. Now I can’t get the writing off my window

Preferred solution: I want my loan reinstated because I never lied to anyone and I have proof of identity theft and proof of no contact until they took my car . They won’t let me get my things I called the tow place she said rapid said I couldn’t get my belongings

If I had the chance to go with someone else, I would, please do not go to these people. They allow their employees to speak to you with absolute disrespect, and you are paying back double of what you take, about a 110% in fact for mine personally.
It started when they man who was helping me get a loan, never texted me back once I accepted the loan he was nice and attentive and answered questions with respect, and then I was told by him, that if I chose the Western Union, that there is no fee associated with it, so that was what I chose, as I had a death in the family why I needed the main, and was not at home. The lady who finalized the loan, said that he absolutely lied to you, and she would be following up with the guy.
Immediately after signing the papers the guy switched, I texted him with a question nothing, I said thank you, he never responded ever again this day. He was also supposed to email me with some sort of bar code to scan to make payments, and I never got it. They are only open Monday through Friday, 9-5, which is not very convenient for people who work to contact.
But furthermore, you can't get in touch with anyone half the time until your late of course, they come out of the woodwork. I was told last Thursday to wait to send in my payment till the 14, and this was the after my payment was supposed to be made, but this Hispanic lady who answered their phone said to wait, so I did. Thursday was the day I started to try and pay my payment, and there was no email, there was no barcode, I had no clue what my account information is none and I have emailed and called emailed and CC Allen day after day with no response, it was the fact here I was just trying to make a payment and couldn't because I had no clue where to send it, the man who processed my loan, , most bizarre thing I have dealt with, that a customer could not find out how to make a payment. Moving on, the loan guy was my first indicator that I might not have went to the wrong company, if I am already being lied too and ignored.
I got home for lunch today, to get this paid and even though someone had to have read my emails and how hopeless I felt trying to pay it and couldn't find my account number.
Someone had texted me and I didn't realize bc I was working and wasn't looking at my phone that I need to pay IMMEDIATELY or my car would be reposed, my bill was due the 14th y'all, today is the the 16th, two days and they already was sending threatening emails so I was upset and wanted to explain why I had no paid it, bc I pay my bills if I owe money it gets paid.
The phone rang one time, this number I called back that had threatened me, and he said my name upon answering the phone and I said yes, and I immediately tried to explain why I didn't make the payment, and how I was lied too from the loan rept that handled my case, he never sent my email that he was suppose, and how I am unable to find anything that he said he was sending, I kind of thought it was the same guy, he said his name was Jay,(J), and I said so when I file a complaint about how rude and disrespectful you have been I can say your name is J. This man was so blatantly rude, I am thinking if contacting a lawyer about this loan now, I have never been spoken to the way he just spoke to me, I have never had someone who works in a collections department that was not happy to hear that the customer was not trying to not pay, but didn't have the tools to pay it. Not this guy, and he has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I am going as far as I can with this complaint, because he had no right to speak to me the way he didn't. I was trying to explain a couple of things to him, so I could get the information that I needed, so this would not happen next month, and he completely interrupted me and talked over my question and concern and said.
Okay, I don't need to hear that just give me your payment, so we can process this now, and was so completely condescending and rude never have I ever been treated so poor in my life. DO NOT GET A LOAN THROUGH THESE PEOPLE, AVOID AT COSTS STAY AWAY AT ALL COST, WORST MISTAKE I EVER Made!!
